HI Guys,

I went on a website (Carparts4less.co.uk) input my reg for my MK5 Auto GTi 55-Reg and they said i could use the Bosch S3 battery, but then i looked a bit and decided that the Bosch S5 075 had a better CCA rating (600). They also (with the Reg check) said this would be fine.
so i got it, removed the old one and installed this one.. its about an inch shorted but the clamp does fit it in place fine and its perfectly tight. however the new one has 61ah and the old one was 72ah..
I have fitted it and it all works, driven for a while all fine.. everything works and the battery is secure. no warning lights..
will my car live?
