Fmic can I fit now? Or do I need to wait...
« on: 23 October 2012, 20:53 »
Can someone please advise. I have a Agu k03, but mapped to around 190bph ish with a cold side forge 007p valve, I have a fmic to fit when I upgrade my turbo soon,

The question is can I fit the fmic now? Before the bigger turbo, which will be a k03s i think depending on a price for a k03/k04 hybrid. Will it affect the car much??

Thanks

Someone correct me If I'm wrong but I think you will get quite a bit of lag with a ko3 and it will hamper your fuel consumption as it has a bigger volume to fill up.

You can fit it now but you will get lag when you floor it.

Hmm that's what I thought I wasn't sure if the map would improve enough on the standard setup to counter it slightly, I will wait for the turbo then! Don't want lag!

As mentioned in other post if anyone has a cheap k03s for sale please let me know!!

Thanks :)
