Right me and me mate was chatting about a special tool he had seen at an engine engineering workshop and we got to thinking we could make one. Only thing is he can't remember the name of the company who made it.
The tool was for popping out the cores of hydraulic tappets. They used it on the bucket tappets from his audi.
Basicly the tappet is pushed in side a section of tube with a hydraulic pump attached that forces oil in to the tappet and the core pops out.
Has any body else seen one of these? i would like to know the manufactures so i can get a better idea of how to go about the project.
