I have no concern about the Toledo cable, because it is OEM and routed in precisely the same course as it is on the Toledo, which is basically the same architecture as a Golf2.
Obviously this also means no cutting stuff, or b*ggering about.
It's the right solution, right down to the pedal, which, although I'm happy with on the track car, might be nice if it was lighter in a road car.
The hydraulic solution, using a Corrado pedal box and drilling a hole for the clutch master would resolve this concern.
