I have a number of electrical niggles with the GTi..
1. Sunroof works intermittently, I changed the switch and it's doing the same thing, sometimes it works, sometimes it won't and I have to shut it with the winder. I get the occasional click from it when pressing the switch. motor? guides? switch? sometimes the buttons are lit, sometimes not, is it a wiring issue?
2. The electric windows - drivers side works, pass side goes down but not up (goes up fine using the remote) - switches broken? Rear pass was working but has stopped, rear drivers doesn't work. I pulled the rubber boot back at each door and wiring looks ok.. Anything to check?
