Hello from Norn Iron.
« on: 17 October 2012, 23:46 »
Hello

I thought I'd come on here just for the hell of it.  What harm can another forum do?  I'm on ukmkivs, edition, vwvortex, gti ni, club gti, etc etc etc.  I have the same username on most of them.  I see a lot of familiar names on here.

Just to give you a rough idea of what i'm working on at the minute.  There's enough here to keep me busy for the rest of my days.  I'm a web developer 9 - 5 and full time VW enthusiast, even during my work hours.

1989 MK2 golf GTI 16v - probably vr6 conversion
1994 Corrado 2.0L 16v - dash swap, seat swap, engine bike carb conversion, high compression, big cammed, etc etc
MK1 golf full restoration, rebuild and slight engine upgrade
Bora TDI - you name it, it's been done to it except an engine swap.
1971 Fastback - needs full restoration.
Fabia VRS - daily driver

Welcome.

Thats a good list of cars/projects. However do you find the time for all that?

It's more like I find time to go to work.

I work to fund them.  I'd quite like to do cars full time and web development part time but unfortunately that would be too much fun and not enough money.
