Boost solenoid problem, Help!!

The boost solenoid was on the way out in my tdi 115, its running mainly 130 parts now so i put a 130 solenoid on today. Took it out for a spin after and there is no boost at all, its completely flat all the way through, Cant even feel a slight kick in.

I then replaced it with the previous one and that ran the same, No power at all.
Can someone help me out here, Were have i gone wrong?

Can anyone help with this or even better has anyone got a diagram of how it goes or pics?

if you know the old one was knackered and you put a new one on and its still not wroking check the wiring to/from the solenoid
