hello everyone, im new to this site. i bought a golf 1.8t 20v but i have a prob with the turbo. when does it the turbo kick in. ive red it shud kick in 2000rpms but mine dosnt feel like anything is happening. pls help.

pretty sure its meant to kick in between 2500-3000 rpm

Happy days. It's standard just dosnt seem 2 have a pull off a turbo.

LOL 1.8t are pants standard that why.
Get it remapped youl notice a kick from the little turbo  :whistle:
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

Please bear in mind you posted in the middle of the day when most people aren't online and you expect an answer straight away  :whistle:

Equally this has been asked before so using the search function might have yielded an answer  :smiley:

And as a final point, 1.8T's are crap  :grin: :grin:

Standard cars don't feel turbo'd at all. infact, they feel pretty slow!
