Is Birmingham a bad place to buy a car from?

lol you guys prob have been looking in the wrong area. not ALL cars are lemons down here. my inlaw bought a pile of poo & that was in dewsbury so your wrong. like wayne said it can happen anywhere. all the cars that are in my family have all been bought in birms & never had any issues!

Personally I'd try and avoid buying any car from much further north of Birmingham, but that's because they're generally rot-boxes because of the amount of salt on the roads.

simply because  loads of brummies in the trade go to kingsland car auctions .......   ( kingsland car auctions is a big sale of end of life sheds )

i usually end up buying a car private based on the picture and how nice the estate looks 

just living around 15 minutes from brum, i would avoid the used car sales pitches

I hate Brum accent one of my mates grates me when he starts to speak to me I wouldn’t buy a car just because he is a Northerner! right?
After all buying cars from foreigners got to be a bad idea right? 
Plus doing the checks on a car and owner, has to be the least priority in the lists of my, why I would or would not buy a car from an area right?
