Thats a big YES! Unfortunately, where the motor trade is concerned, Brum is full of Rogues!
I speak with many years of experience in the trade.

My sister in laws husband is Kurdish. He has alot of friends in Brum and regularly goes up there to get cars off them for pence! He then comes back down to Plymouth and sells them on. He always makes a decent profit, but I'd never buy a car from him!

I know there will be loads of well looked after, legitimate examples, and don't mean to offend anyone. Just wanted to get a general overview for it's reputation as I am sure I've heared it mentioned a few times and just wanted to clarify. The car I've seen could be the best looked after car in the whole of brum for all I know... I just don't want to take any chances

Cheers, Les

Lets be honest buying any car is a lottery no matter where you buy it from.

Buying from a dealer should also give you piece of mind but that is not always the case.
