The wife wanted to go to Borneo but we never got there, ended up doing a week in Hawkshead in the lakes instead. Still, we can always go back there I suppose. :afro:

weather has to be nice so thats ireland ruled out... but would like to visit sometime.

Italy will most likely be done on a week hols in early summer.

My only concern is the weather in maldives in july...  :undecided: Phuket should be ok that time of year, which means I wont be seeing you eggbert unless you are in one of those shows

Maldives weather pretty stable all year round with exception of May and October when it is change of monsoons.  If any rain in summer months it tends to be at night and is a nice to watch.  Have been to Maldives 5 times and never had any complaints about weather.  It does get very humid though so pack very light clothes such as linen.  Enjoy

Thanks!! looking forward to it already.... managed to get so much more by booking it direct myself. Worth the effort if you spend time on it. Saving £600 on flights alone by booking them individually.

Hotels booked direct - well they will be when I speak to them and try get them to chuck in transfers for free also  Managed to save around £2k in total.... should be useful as spending money
