Excellent choice!

You won't be dissappointed with either! The fact that you can fire anything from a Colt 45, desert eagle .50, and a double barrelled shot gun in the shopping centre says it all! Awsome karting track, great watersports, and amazing restaurants and nightlife!

Maldives will be the most beautiful and relaxing place your ever likely to see! The view from a plane will be awsome (sadly we sailed in - and no it wasn't in my mk3! ), but even so, it was fantastic. Again, amazing watersport, and the diving is beyond words!

Will be an unforgettable honeymoon mate!

Thats good to hear.. it was a tough choice! Obviously keeping to budget was key... and I think the far east provides great value for money.

Knowing someone that stayed in the hotel im booking also helped sway me... they did mention that there is lots of activities to do out there also.

I managed the compromise by getting a top of the range suite for the first 2 nights and then a regular roo (if you could call it that) for 8 nights. Considering I wont be spending much time in the hotel for the rest of the stay its a good compromise.

Then flying back to Dubai and on to Maldives and another lush resort to relax for 6 nights... happy days

If you are taking the car then go to the Isle of Man.
See what it's like to drive public roads with no speed limit, test out that Mk5.

Go during TT.

For somewhere stunningly beautiful and romantic i can recommend Ireland especially the west coast, the weather can be a bit iffy but its unbeatable for a good time and the best atmosphere.

I'll be in Chiang Mai the first week of April then down to Phuket (Patong) for Songkran.  Might see you there.

Funny enough the West Coast of Ireland is a very good suggestion.  Not as good as it was (too many EEC never-never funded Dallas bungalow spreads littering the beautiful countryside).  But very romantic.

weather has to be nice so thats ireland ruled out... but would like to visit sometime.

Italy will most likely be done on a week hols in early summer.

My only concern is the weather in maldives in july...  :undecided: Phuket should be ok that time of year, which means I wont be seeing you eggbert unless you are in one of those shows
