Depends if you are couples who like to sit on your arse for two weeks doing sod all or a full activity honey moon! I did the Barbados thing got bored after five days......!
Try South America, meet new people open your eyes at new cultures instead of bubble wrapped environments that feel too safe

I do feel i need a holiday doing sod all after a wedding but I am very poor at sitting still.

More than happy to go off myself and do my own thing though... Im quite active like that.

Still a little undecided if we should go all out in private pool villa on sea front in indian ocean or split the holiday up with far east for a week and then somewhere nice in europe also.

Havent really considered the states  :undecided:

How about a busy week in the Orlando area doing the sights and space centre followed by 7 nights in Miami South Beach - South Beach allows you to soak up the sun on the beach during the day and take in the sights and atmosphere in the evenings

thanks.... some good suggestions there.

im thinking seychelles. been looking at resorts and hotels out there already. amazing what you can spend if you pick some of the nicer places. managed to get one at £1000 per night without even trying

...  but hey it only comes around once so may as well make the most of it. Im thinking 14 nights in one place now

Seychelles is awesome, my cousin got married there and our family flew out there for the shindig and a holiday - they honeymoon'd there too and then went on a tour of Europe/Asia afterwards. Hope you can ride a moped, you wouldn't want to hire one out and have a nasty accident on your honeymoon  :lipsrsealed:

We had 5 nights in New York for ours and had a brilliant time.

If you have never been to NY it won't disappoint as its exactly as per your perception from the movies, recommended

This is exactly what we did and 100% fell in love with the place and we will go back!

Fantastic city and we will go back too.

Doing a fly drive next year to San Francisco, Yosemite Park, Death Valley, Bryce Canyon, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon...with a hulk of an SUV to do it in..again this would make a great Honeymoon if you look activities and exploring rather than a beach holiday.

Me and the wife did one of those helicopter landing tours in the Grand Canyon yesterday! Followed by a pontoon boat ride up the Colorado and then onto the Skywalk! Was absolutely spectactular and the pictures don't really do it justice.

I'd spend the two weeks in Madagascar, plenty of gorgeous places to stay and tonnes to do, plus although the flights are a bit expensive cost of living there is very cheap so you can do what you want!

its funny you should put that pic up.... I have now decided on phuket for 10nights... then maldives for 5 on the way back home

Should find plenty to do in both places but also.... a nice chill out before we get back to the daily grind
