exhaust help

hey guys,

basically my exhaust is knackered, and i'm thinking of using this as a chance to get a decent exhaust on it instead of just replacing with a stock part.

only thing is i dont have a clue what exhaust to get or where to even begin to look. I want it to sound nice when i accelerate but not be ridiculously loud when idle. not fussed about performance increase either.

any help on models, brands, where to get them etc, any info at all would be much appreciated!

hit ebay, and search for ur cars exahust, example MK3 GTI 2.0 8V Exhaust Back box, if thats what u need, once u find the 1 u like, check if its compatible with your car, read about the details and buy it if ur happy with it ...

I've got the Jetex "26-HR" exaust on my mk3 8v which is normal when idle but when you drive it sounds like a beast.. its compatible with the 16v/Vr6 aswell..
