Hi everyone,im new to the site and modifiying cars,this is the second mk3 golf gti 8v ive had,love it to bits and take care of it very well

When i got the car it already had private plates,coilover suspension,pipercross panel filter,ashley rear exhaust box.

Ive fitted 600w infinity reference 6x9 parcel shelf speakers,alpine head unit..
swapped and replaced a few bits of interior from my old red golf so the black golf is very clean inside now
replaced rear lights with rare red /crystal clear new ones,crystal side repeaters and fitted xenon super white headlight / spot bulbs.

the car jus came out the garage the other day as it needed a new rocker cover gasket,end of gearbox re-sealed and topped up,and exhaust adjusting cause it was rattling.all fixed now so im happy,it cost me £80 for all that

there is a bit more i would like to do to the car,such as decat pipe,new rims and tyres but was thinking of getting the originals powder coated in white or alloy,maybe infinity reference sub and amp,engine strut,new pipe set...

any questions,advice or info welcome,thanks for your time ')

Not a fan of the mudflaps or the rear lights but the rest is really nice, good basis for a project.

the back lights are new and are not being replaced but when i bought them i was stuck between them and the black smoked ones,tailpipe is a bit long,might be getting sorted when i decat.

As above really bud, not a fan of the 'rare' rear lights. The smoked standard GTI ones are alot better. The exhaust looks a bit on the wonk, which would annoy me but apart from that it looks pretty clean dude. Doesnt seem to have a sunroof either which alot more people prefer over the sunroof models.
I wouldn't go mad with the engine to be fair, if you want it looking nice strip it down clean, repaint and tidy it all up would look tonnes better. And maybe save you a bit of cash aswell

As above. Really like the black mk3. Rear lights though

i like the first pic but again not a fan of the lights..they stand out a bit too much against the black paint.

Hella 'reds' seem to work well on black cars.
