vivaro van clutch problem ?
« on: 12 October 2012, 11:11 »
My works van has gone tits up,when i got in it this morning the clutch pedal was all the way to the floor.Does this mean the clutch cable has snapped or there is a problem with a cylinder ?,its my day off so i will call the AA when im back in work but it means the van is stuck on the drive because its pointing towards the house and on a slope.

You haven't got to sort it have you?

Also, if you put it in gear and start it does it jump forward? If it does you could probably carefully get it out the way that way.

Its on a incline pointing towards the house i think they will need to tow it out,is this possible from behind bearing in mind its quite a heavy van parked on a incline. :undecided:

Yeah they'll do it fine. Tow eye at the back. I've towed one up the drive to get it to start once, with an SDI MK4.
