oil light flashing!!!

hi, i have a p reg mk3 2.0 8v, had recent oil leak an found my oil pressure sensor had broke an sprayin oil out!! have replaced sensor but now oil light on continuose an beeping even though oil on the mark of dip stick an no longer leaking! any advise or ideas would be very helpful, thanks, scott

when you have been driving it for awhile does the light stop blinking when you are not accelerating?if so most likely you have the wrong pressure sensor for your car. take a look at the old one and look at the pressure range and then compare the new one. the range is on the bottom where you screw it in. it is not an mot fail, but the blinking is annoying.

Pick up could be blocked

Check and see if the switch is the correct one if so then you oil pump could be worn or the pick up pipe is blocked.
