Holes in dash.

Is it just the 2 golfs ive owned or do all golfs have holes all the way across the front of the dash where it meets the windscreen? Theres about 6 in all. Anybody know what should fill these holes?

don't think i have them... but i can't see them from the inside so im not sure... jsut got back into comp room at college from goin out to check and forgot to have a look from the outside... duh

I've got those holes on my dash too always wondered what they were for? so can't help but I want to know too!

Me too! I was meaning on posting the samw question!

I have them on my 16V and i had them on my 8V too!

I thought they were mewnt to have the faomus platic plugs in and had not been replaced due to the dash being removed or something??

While were at it, what are those moulds in the metal of the front doors for? tou the ones about 14" up from the catch?

Funny u should mention that Deefadog I thought that the other day and all I could think was there for fitting suicide doors now all I need is a doner car to try it out on!
