I don't agree with the campaign at all. For me, the best thing we can do for 'feminism' is to go out and be what you want to be to the very best of your ability. Whether that's getting your tits out in the paper or topping a traditionally male dominated field or anything in between. We should have the choice to do what we want to do. People trying to stop us getting our tits out for money are really no better than any other bigot. Also, stop moaning. Moaning about totally inconsequential things like Page 3 does nothing but damage to the 'cause'.
I heard a radio interview with some feminist talking about Page 3 and she was saying things like, it makes women not feel valued for anything other than their looks etc. I felt sorry for her. If she doesn't feel valued in her own life for her own achievements then something must have gone wrong for her and that's sad. However it was also slightly offensive for her to assume that all women feel this way. Personally, I have always believed that if you're happy, secure, confident and satisfied with yourself and your own life then things like Page 3, silly sexist jokes, wolf whistles etc simply will not bother you. The only person who can make you feel that way is YOU.
I also think there are far more important issues in the media - the top for me being the levels of post-processing of images out there. I have no problem with beautiful women, boobs etc but imo they should be real. The amount of fakery out there is damaging, particularly to young girls.
