Is it poss to bleed abs pump after changing it without having all four wheels off the ground and using vagcom?

i would say so....although access will be tricky. I had my pump off and all stripped down, refitted and bled using the conventional two man method and no vagom. Abs light went out straightaway.

PS - Not sure if fitting another pump will need vagcomed though. It may well do.

That's what I would of thought, but after doing some reading up on it apparently the pump needs to run for a few seconds to purge itself? Well that's what the vagcom boys say.
Does seem a bit extreme.

I thought that too before doing mine......it did take me a while to get it right though.
