Hey guys, a Brit living in France here. 

I've just purchased myself a nice MK4 Golf 2L GTI. My sister was upgrading so I got it for a great price with just 89,000 miles on the clock.  I flew to England in the week and drove it back to France; it was faultless and smooth cruise that averaged 41 mpg!

Lots of odd jobs to do on the car, so hope to pick up some tips here.
