How to get car back from police pound

lol yeh, have to pay a fine to get it back and there's a charge everyday but i dont know if i'll have to get a full 12 month insurance or a temporary one to take it out. lucky i didnt have my license taken away though, only been driving for a few months...could have been alot worse

How?  Never seen that before?

As long as your eligible to drive the car (or the person collecting it) then you should be able to pay the fees and get vehicle back.  Thats the way ive always understood it,

How did you not get your licence took off you ??  No insurance is an automatic 200 quid fine and 6 points. These 6 points  would mean if you passed your test recently which you say you've only been driving a few months and coupled with your age would mean that 6 points within the first 2 years would mean your licence should be revoked and retest required
