Rust!
Check mot for advisories to see if something has just been left to get worse rather than replace. Check the bushes, shocks and springs , the setup is prone to wear. Engine should pull very well, i had one on 170k a few yrs back and it went like stink. No major smoke, blue smoke is turbo or combustion chamber wear (rings, stem seals etc). Black smoke is just diesel .
