new lambda sensor still getting fault code??
« on: 07 October 2012, 10:08 »
My diagnostic tester is bringing up 00525 low voltage. I have replaced the sensor and cleared the code but keeps comming up. Any suggestions?

Is your oxygen sensor plug mounted where it is normally on a Mk3 ABF near the rear engine mount? Would check the wiring to the connector going into the plug as they can break there. Check the pins for corrosion if you can.

I've got a 4 branch manifold and have fitted the lambda where it goes from 4 into the one single exhaust so it samples all the pots. could it not be getting hot enough? I will have a good check of the wiring too.
