not really,

1, Dover calais is cheaper than the IoW ferry  :shocked:

2, 3 way split on costs for my vehicle, 4 way for the other one

3, fuelling up in Belgium for Fuel and Smokes, profit to be made off them

and after all, you only live once, make the most of it  :wink:

Indeed. I drove to Italy earlier this year. It really isnt as expensive as you would think!

I love road trips!  I've driven all round Europe with work and find that even though most main roads in Europe are 2 lane, they don't suffer from congestion as bad as here!
