anti roll bar bush replacement

hi guys i have just put my mk2 gti in for its mot and its passed but with a few advisories   

one of which is wear in the front anti roll bar bushes, 

my question is what thickness is the bar as there are two options on the euro car parts web site

17mm and 19 mm , which will fit mine ? 

 thanks for your input ,also my golf is a 1989 8v 5 door standard set up.

i believe the 17mm bushes are the ones.

the 19mm ones are for the mk3 arb as its thicker in diameter..dont quote me on this

hi mush thanks for the info , 

this will point me in the right direction, will let you know when i buy and fit them

Get a 17mm spanner, and see if it fits the ARB, if the spanner is too small, then its safe to say, that its a 19mm ARB
