Quite dull - rear wiper on/off.

 ???Can't get my rear wash/wipe to cancel after I've put it on(stork forward). Not life threatening but it would mean a lot if somebody could let me in on the secret. Yup.

Push it foward again to cancel it, took me a while to figure it out too!!

You press it once to activate the intermitent realy that makes it operate every say 6 sedconds or so, As said above you just press it quickly again to turn it off.

If that doesn't work then relay has probably had it.

i think everybody must have this problem!! took me a few weeks to work it out!!

  Nice one chaps. I was having to switch the ignition off as the rear wiper started to really scream. Wish I could do the same with the missus, yuk, yuk.

I think its really annoying that you have to keep flicking it quickly to switch on and off. What happened to the good old rear wiper switches like you get in any other car but a golf!!!
