ok this is part of a Cobra 7925 alarm ..... most of this s**t (and more not in the pic that i found under the steering column) i have removed as the wires never went anywhere ..in fact i am going to go thru the dustbin and take a pic of the stuff i removed !!  :grin: AnND the alarm stilll works !! ... has anyone else seen anything like this?? and what the heck is that discy thing??  Unfortunatel i would love to tell you all the name of the alarm company but i don't think i am allowed to on here.... anyhow .. lets have some feedback ... witty , slanderous and technical .....

The disc thing looks like a speaker or horn thing, i would guess someone put a new alarm in and the guys couldn't be assed to take out the old one!!

Looks like an old Scorpion jobby! the disc is an internal siren. should be ok to remove it just remember it might still be live!!!

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

ok ... old scorpion system sounds realistic .. i have a pic that i will post of all the wiring i removed that never went anywhere.. masses of it ... that disc thing still seems to be hooked up to the cobra system ... not for long maybe !!

Now that looks like a lot of wire for an alarm! you sure it's not the engine loom you've pulled out?  :evil: nice photoshop work  :grin: probably put in by a spanner monkey in the dealership check out the lovely 2 core house wiring!! at leasy theres a fuse in it though!!
