Ah yes. never thought of that. had the regulator panel off to replace window clips. bit strange though that was two yeara ago and neverr had a problem till now.

hopefully this will sort it. so i just need to reseal the regulator panel?

yup, but not with silicone unless its the stuff Mercedes use on their vans, mate gave me a tube and the stuff hasnt cracked or expanded and its fine contrary to popular belief

What woukd you recomend? Was just going to use silicone but if you advise against it?

whats the stuff called marcades use on the vans?

What are these buttyle stips people are talking about in that thread. thwy the best thing to use?

i only got my hands on it as my car was on the ramps at Owell trucks in norwich as my GF's cousins dad is chief whip there so he pulled a tube out, cost about £50 and just plastered my door in it, thing is i need the removal chemicals they have if i ever need to sort out the window now  :cry:

best is the buetyl strips, had some off ebay i was going to use but went the other way

best do that TBH, im still in two minds about it the stuff i've used but its working so far lol
