Powerflex dogbone bushes first impressions

Sorry for making this thread but i cant find what i need to know  :embarrassed:

Im going to be buying the yellow bushes from either awesome or ebay

I don't want it to vibratey (is that a word?) so I'm only going to put in 1 bush but i don't know which, big or small ?

I had them and hated them. I bought the red tdi ones in the end which are supposedly softer and even then im only using half.

aup mate, changed both bushes on mine the one that has the bolt going though it which goes into gear box, then the big bush which is closer to the subframe, it makes a fair bit of vibration but makes it alot better when it comes to driving it hard as i found the stanard ones too soft. if you only changed the small bush i dont think you would notice any diffrence to be honest mate.

Well i have alot of front to back movement on the engine so the need changing il it only takes a couple of minutes to get it off so il have a swap about and see whats best !

Youll like the more positive gear change but I didnt feel it was worth the extra vibration.

Hmmmm how many miles have you covered and what one did you replace with the poly ?

Too much  :lipsrsealed: IIRC £80 for the complete dogbone - you cant buy the bushes separate

The one that you can just about see when its all bolted back into the car, it looks better with the red showing a little bit :grin:

As said, R32 sounds the best if you have the money but for 80 quid I think id just leave it alone  :smiley:
