check the basics:-
clean the TB, I have heard and seen in the past when people have installed head units of them drawing power even when off, may just be enough every journey to cut it out.... unplug it at the back and see if its the same
revving engine, could be the MAF - aain unplug it and see if it still does it
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Harlemex - The issue happens both when the car is hot and cold, and it doesn't matter what distance is travelled it will always at some point cut out.

Dalo Harkin - I have already removed the TB, cleaned it thoroughly (it was pretty grubby) and replaced it. The head unit hasn't been in the car since the car started cutting out and I have already tried it with the MAF unplugged - still no joy

Paultownsend - cheers mate, very much appreciated.
