nice work. i wud cut that a little more lower too. the 9'' width might catch on full lock?

was it easy with the angle grinder and did you damage any paint with the heat of the grinder?

WHAT SHOW TOMORROW???????

I dont really wanna go any lower as there are small rivet holes which i wanna use to hold the G60 arches in place.. Gonna try it out and see how i get on.. when i first fitted the wheels.. the main concern was the top of the arch hitting the tyre.. nothing lower down seemed a problem. Unfortunately the wheels are at the Refurbisher at the mo so can't try them out..

The heat of the grinder does bubble the paint.. but i just sanded this down and covered in hamerite.. Didnt damage any paintwork which you would see.. it will all be covered up by the Black G60 arch trim..

Whats going on tomorrow???

You got balls to try this yourself mate! The 1st picture of the cut looked so painfull but after filler and painting looks like you done a real good job. Well done 10 gold stars!

I hate to say it but mix might be right and you may need to cut a bit further down. Time will tell when you get the wheels back though. Keep us updated!

13" with low profile tyres must be proper tiny!

Work on the arches has been put on hold..Currently replacing the cylinder head.. causing me a few problems but she should be back on the road within the next few days.. then i shall start work on the arches again.. I'll put up the finished results..

Cheers
