Going to the Nurburgring

Evening,

Next month i am off to the Nurburgring for a few days. I have tickets to drive the GP track however that is only for one day / morning / afternoon.

Im going to visit the Ring Werk museum and probably go to the VW museum at Wolfsberg. However, where else should i visit in that region? I will probably go look at the Nurburg castle and have a walk in the woods and spectate at the track too for a few photographs.

Where else should i go or have you visited.

Spectating is where it's at.  You can get to a lot of the track to spectate and it's a lot of fun watching TF goons go round.

I have found a few threads on other forums that give you guides to getting to spectating points so will be doing that for a day.

The tickets were bought for me by the MRS. To be honest, i have never driven a track and have a new car. So im not sure if i will use them at all!

I would actually do Pinocchio's over Pistenklaus - the service at the PK stinks.

Adenaur Forst is worth getting to to spectate at, as is the Karussell, which is relatively easy to access from Brunnchen. At Karussell you can clamber up to the top of the billboard and look down to Klosteral as well, which is cool.  If you do that the amount of shattered car parts aroud the outside of the bend will give you the hint you should be careful there.
