removed needles and now they're all messed up

As title reaally, i removed the needles to fit new foils and now they're all messed up! got fuel and temp to right place but the rev counter will not go right, am I missing something or doing it wrong?

well in a mk3 you need to rotate all the needles anticlock wise twice, then clockwise then line them up to the zero. I THINK thats how you reset them on the mk3s, could be same for mk4's

You need to adjust them with the front off. What you think is right normally goes wrong once they self adjust with the ignition on. Just keep adjusting till you get it right

Turn them anti clock wise until it reaches 0 then turn the car on it should be 750/800 ish
