Exhaust Gas Warning Lamp & EPC lights
« on: 23 September 2012, 19:10 »
Hi,

I am just new to driving world.

I purchased VW Golf 1.4 S 2006 model.

I observed when I switched on the engine, it shows Exhaust Gas Warning Lamp & EPC warning lights.  However, when I start engine they both just disappear.

I have no idea if this is an issue or just normal lights.

Any suggestion will really help.

This car was MOT last week and was serviced 3 months ago.

Thanks

Ok thanks... It is strange when I switch on the engine they appear and stay there but as soon as I start engine they disappear.

Any idea how much VW dealer will cost to have a look?  Just for my peace of mind.

Have a read of your owners manual, should tell you in there what should happen, it sounds normal though.
