Anyone use it before?

Used to on my old Android phone, though if you're gaming just turn off wifi/3G before opening the game and you get no ads anyway.

Tried it failed think it needs rooting been there havent we Jay 
Still havent rooted the evo 3d serves me well and dont do anything for it to be except the ads on some apps

Yeah you need to be rooted. Turn off the internet so the ads can't be displayed.

If you do root the Evo there are some cool things people are doing with them now, like permanent 3D backgrounds, 3D in Apps that aren't 3D, using the dual cameras to measure distances accurately. I even checked ebay for a Evo 3D so I can try out all the 3D'ness - alas there were none other than BNIB's

Its got complicated to root the Evo 3D if you have Hboot 1.5 & over and S off best way is using linux to brick the phone then root it (ironic) is working for people, but I'm still worried about real time bricking it LOL!

Find a way to root your EVO 3D and install ROM Toolbox Pro from Play, it's worth it! It has so many options for customization and AD Blocking
