Interior lights not working.
« on: 22 September 2012, 15:56 »
Hi lads, does anyone know how to check why my interior lights do not work when I open my drivers door?
I checked the feed to the light in the door also and it has battery voltage but no earth. Could it be the door latch? As I assume this is where the switch is located.
Cheers lads.

Does the door open indicator work on the dash? Might be the door lock module has failed

Was around £150 for the module when I had mine done.

You might be able to repair it by resoldering the joints http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?1542461
