Anyone had any experience of GiifGaff?

Cancelled my phone contract so looking at sim only monthly contracts. The unlimited data from GiffGaff is appealing.

Very good network. Havent had a problem with them yet. For the price you can't complain.

As long as you get a good O2 signal you'll be good.

Indeed they do. You can either buy a O2 topup or having a recurring goodie bag like I did.

I used to tether my phone to the laptop and surf away. One month did 6GB and didn't get a warning so it is truly unlimited.

I moved over to Giff Gaff this week, so far so good.  I get a MUCH better signal around Manchester than I ever did with Orange.  £10 a month for 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data.

HOWEVER.

Giff Gaff have said they can no longer afford to support unlimited data at the current cost.  They're giving customers three options.

1.  £10 a month for 750MB
2.  £13 a month for unlimited data
3.  Both become plans and you can pick either

It's being discussed on the GG forum at the moment before a final decision is made.

:O Didn't know they are removing the data deals! Bummer 3 has a good offer on for truly unlimited data.

Yeah, apparently it's costing a fortune to keep the data packages how they are.
