that paint looks good however if it was me, first I would research what temp the rocker can get to, then I would buy paint with a decent name to it. Remember to seal it with "engine laccer"

why use a spare?? i done mine whilst it was on the car  :grin:

disconnect the coil packs, and remove oil cap
plug holes with news paper
cover rest of bay with sheets
spray away!!!

although i should have prepped it better  :embarrassed:

are you being serious, that idea had sprung to mind, but i thought wait thats silly but now you mention it, might just have to give it a go :)

plug with newspaper is very risky, its not much work to get the cam cover off and its so much easier once its removed.

prep is always key to a good job, spend time degreasing every little corner and the finish will be well worth your time.
