Ive had a good quote from Privilege £900. I'm 25 and 8 years no claim. Just have to wait for my car to arrive now. I was very supprised it costs me £1000 to insure my Clio 172?? Madness??

cool cheers guys.

am 28, but have been driving works car for past 3 years, so i have decided to put it in wifes name-25,two years no claims.

had a quote of 625 but that is for a gti 200- 2004-onwards, seems some insurance companys dont have the turbo in the title, will just have to wait for reg number and keep fingers crossed.

bye the way, when will they tell me the reg number, getting car 15-10-05

yer its the right car go the 200 in it.

If youve been driving works cars for 3 years, why dont you get a letter from work on their letter head confirming this.

Most insurance companies will honour this as if you had been driving in your own insurance.  Im sure it will count to the discount.

some say its gti 200, 2004-onwards,

others say gti T 200, 2004 -onwards,

bloke at vw garage stated it has to be the gti 200 T,

when you put both in, the "T" is coming out about £400 more!!!!!

Been with Privilege for years now, no one else has beaten their quotes on renewal, and i have tried.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.
