will this airbag ecu fit a 99 2.0 gti, i havent checked my own ecu yet but have tried and tested everything to turn off my airbag light and was told that the ecu can give problems if been scanned and ecu's starting with 6Q0 are the one's to look out for.

according to a search i did this is meant for a polo/passat. would this be why it isnt working.

the first part number you put down shows as an airbag ecu for golf passat and A3 in the mexican market on ETKA, nothing in the uk market, the part number for your current one is no longer in the system
