20v conversion underway. advice.
« on: 18 September 2012, 20:57 »
Hi to all!
My 20v conversion is finally underway. Its a mk4 AUM gti motor with the K03s turbo to a G60 box and qpeng loom. Motor,s straight in no problem at all. But thats the end of the relatively easy part. Intercooler pipework is a bit of a struggle but getting there.
Have tried a g60 cable selector with mk4 bracket to box but that is coming up short by about 3 inches, so what bracket do i require?
Clutch cable is a 1300 as recommended but again it is too short.
Also, where does oil pressure switch and oil temp switch plumb into?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not nearly as straight forward as i had hoped but should get there with your input.
cheers to all,
Chris.

Clutch cable - ABF SEAT Ibiza unit.

Cable change - about to try mating the one in Dave_IOW's Golf up - hope we're not coming up short.  Pictures of what you're using for the shift assembly parts would be handy.

Oil pressure and temp..... should be two press - on head and on filter housing.  Oil temp comes off filter housing too.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
