obd1 clocks work on obd2 loom?

doing a vr6 conversion on my mk2 and it's an obd2 set up, just wondering if i run mk3 vr6 clocks does it matter if the clocks are obd1 or obd2? cheers

I've just put obd1 clocks into mine (obd2) and everything seems eathed badly! Clock lights flicker with indicators etc. Petrol gauge and water temp read whatever they want. Speedo and rev gauge works as they should.

On a vr6 too. Wait for another reply I might just have a dodgy set of clocks
