He is such a tool. Am not going to miss his annoying voice at all. A 4 hour show and he may have played 5 songs tops.

I feel radio should be for music, not mugs with over inflated egos who has a team who all have brown noses and tongues. Dom seemed to be the only one who was down to earth and not a complete moron.

However, Grimshaw does defo sound like he is on a come down permanently.

3 and a half hour show and if it was so annoying why did you listen to it all and count the songs?

Radio 4

The Today Programme > Radio 1 Breakfast.

In fact i'll extend the comment to "All of Radio 1 is utter sh!t".

6music is by far the best. Shaun Keaveny is funny. Fact.

Nail on head.

How anyone can listen to Moyles is beyond me. I'm sure he's a nice guy and I'd love to go for a pint with him but c'mon, the show was terrible, it was radio's equivalent to reading the Sun or Star.

Radio one is pump, apart from when Trevor Nelson is on.  That man is a legend in my eyes.

I spent a fair few morning in the passenger seat of a car having to listen to the awful show full of moronic chit chat and infantile games and minimal music.

all Radio DJs seem to have a massive crew with them lately, whatever happened to just presenting a show yourself?

where I work there is 1 DJ, 1 News girl, 1 traffic & travel / guy to take the piss out of. Then the other station they own has 1 DJ on in the morning sharing the news girl with the other station. It's the Beeb and other big commercial stations that have a larger entourage of people behind the scenes. Smaller stations have the presenters/news people doing most of the show, and yes they are bitter about it

I agree with most on here, although I suppose I'm the type of person/age that Radio 1 are trying to move away from.

Chris Moyles was excellent imo, and Grimmy will be caught in the headlights there. As soon as they announced he was taking over, I was shocked as I really don't like his show. Boring as dish water. Scott Mills is brilliant, and never fails to make me laugh when I listen to his show in the afternoon. He would have been the perfect replacement, even if he is "getting on a bit".
