Ok guys I've done a couple of things to the golf now and ive fitted a updated re circ now my question is it only has the normal spring in it and you can barley hear anything when the turbo kicks in so as I don't know what's been done to the car before will it hurt if I put the yellow spring in or will it mess up the running of the car it's a ARZ engine
Cheers for any help

You're choice of diverter valve will have nothing to do with your 'turbo spool' noise..
Removing bonnet sound deadening, fitting a CAI, and having your car remapped, will all help you to actually being able to hear it.

yellow is for mapped cars mate if car is standard then the spring you are using will be fine as for noise you dont really hear a great amount of noise with a recirc valve as much as ppl say yes you do i dont beleive them as its simply not designed to make chav noises like the atmospheric valves
but as dave as said a cai will make it a bit louder

Cheers for that guys I've done the smooth airbox mod as I had a cone on it and tried two different ones and both sounded crap so put the standard box back in just need to get a panel filter now but do you recon taking off the sound deadning help it at all ? Cheers for your help guys when I got it it had a baileys dv on and that had to go as it was making it run like crap lol not after the chav sound just the spool of the turbo sound lol

Can get them off eBay dunno how good they are though, and generally they are decat too, so you would have to space the second lambda sensor so the management light doesn't come on
Or keep an eye out on classifieds!!!
