Both are relatively easy.
The front badge comes off as a unit, but you do have to take off the grille first. It is a while since I've done this, but from memory there are 2 upper screws (unsure but think there are 2 lower screws too) and then you need to unclip the top clips then the bottom clips and out it comes. The badge rotates to the left as you look at it from the back of the grille after releasing 3 clip points. Don't try to force this or you'll break the clips.
The rear badge is held on with multiple clips and awkward to release. The usual method is to work some dental floss between the grey back and the chrome badge and open a small gap up. Once the small gap is there stick a credit card or trim removal tool in the gap and work your way around the badge releasing the clips.
Took me about an hour to do my MKVI.
