I suppose it comes down to how important the dealer stamp is to you in regards to selling on.

Several of those items can be done at home.

Whats the mileage?

Did you have an oil change at 30k Miles or every 10k?

I would wait until the 40000 mile service interval and that way you can combine it with the DSG oil change schedule of 40000 miles.

The service schedule should be in the drivers hand book.

Are you having any issues with your golf?

I had an oil change service in aug 2011, when it had done 23k. I've happened to do a lot of miles this year, compared to previous years.

I've just always had my cars serviced every year.

So nearly 10k later it's due oil service.

No probs to report.

Brake Fluid is every 2 years

Cambelt every 4 years or 60000 miles (whichever is reached first)

I would do the major at 40000 with the belt (Unless already done?) and dsg oil, the rest will covered in the major service.

Are you on orginal brake pads and discs?

Go for the oil change and have the car scanned for faults and request a print out if any are flagged as a concern or require work.
