accelerator pedal doesn't have a rubber. it doesn't need to have one. as its not that important if your foot slips off.

I've seen somewhere that audi TT pedal covers fit on a MK2 golf,  they have an accelerator cover too. I'll try and find the article for you.

yep get the TT pedals, thats what i have on mine

i have a pic of them, but i cant host it anywhere!! i can email it if you want

these are the part numbers u need, u need two TT clutch pedal rubbers & a LHD accelerator pedal

the TT brake pedal doesnt fit, hence the need for 2 clutch pedals - cost about ?25 all in

TT pedal covers
to fit to a mk2
1) 8N0-721-174-A-01C (2 off)
2) 8N1-721-647-B (1 off)

nah they just slip over, they have a rubber backing just like the normal OEM pads, u just attach the top lip then pull other lips out & over

the accelerator one has to be bent a little but all will become apparent once you have them ready to fit

taking the surround for the fuse box helped give me a bit more access, but also allowed to put on a bolt adjuster to bring the clutch pedal back level with the brake pedal, before it sat about an inch higher
