Hi at moment have mk4 1.8t and considering mk5 gti or leon cupra r, What sort of power can these engines take and how tuneable are they. Thanks for any info.

You won't regret it bro. A gti will hold its value much better than the Seat and if you find a sound example, you'll be chuffed to bits. As far as tuning goes on a standard ko3 turbo, my gti currently puts out 300bhp and 270lbft. With a high pressure fuel pump, water meth injection and a custom map, figures of 330bhp and 300lbft are possible.....

Hey Shaft, have you made a decision yet? You won't go wrong with a mk5 or a Leon Cupra R. If you can handle a lesser resale value, then plump for the Leon. It's a Golf after all, just a poorer mans version, as the Golf is to the A3.
