help with hps intake

ok so installed a hps but there is a small offspur in the tube what do i connect to that ive been searching for two days now! its blocked off atm and i can definatley feel a LOSS of powet going to check for leaks any tips? also want to get that offspur connected to what it should is it a crank breather or sonething helllllp!!  :grin:
